The Blogs

The importance of writing your weekly blog posts cannot be understated.

Your blogs are graded according to a rubric. Read it, understand it, and be sure to make corrections to your blog post.

There are three types of blogs, each with its own set of rules:

  1. The weekly blog: This is the type you will write most often. The weekly blog tells the story of your understanding of what went on in class in a given week and explains the Science & Engineering Practices you used to be successful. These blogs are due every Friday.

  2. The project blog: Written at the end of a project. This blog asks you to reflect on the work you did and allows you to see how much you've grown.

  3. The connections blog: This blog will be added to periodically as you feel like you can identify one of the Corss Cutting Concepts in our study. You will need to identify at least 2 for each unit for a total of 16 entries during the year. These blogs are due two days before a unit exam is scheduled
